Happy Anniversary!

25 years of .....

NON SMOKING!!

Phew, that's a long time without a fag. I was tempted to celebrate by lighting a Dunhill, which always tasted so nice when drinking whisky (yes, a Balvenie for example), but decided on a piece of chocolate instead.

It might sound surprising that I still remember the exact date of quitting, but throughout the whole first year I knew exactly how many days, weeks, months I had been without a smoke.

Because life feels much healthier without, I think I'll add another 25 years before I might try a cigarette again, if they aren't banned altogether by then.
